CUPPING THERAPY:

Cupping is a form of ancient Chinese treatment which was also used by the ancient Egyptians. Cupping stimulates life force energy through meridians in the body. Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective methods of releasing toxins from body tissue and organs. It is a practice in which the therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing an increase in blood flow to the affected area. Enhanced blood flow under the cups draws impurities and toxins away from the nearby tissues and organs towards the surface for elimination.

Different Types Of Cups

Horn/suction cups
Glass/fire glass cups
Plastic / Hijama cups
Bamboo / wooden cups
Silicone / facial cups

WET CUPPING / HIJAMA:

Detoxifies Body | Improves Immunity | Cures digestion problem | Helps in fertility and Pcod

Wet cupping also called Hijama, may involve both suction and controlled medicinal bleeding.  With wet cupping, cups are usually placed for a few minutes, then the practitioner removes the cup and makes a small incision to draw blood. After the cups are removed, the practitioner may cover the previously cupped areas with ointment and bandages. This helps prevent infection. Any mild bruising or other marks usually go away within 10 days of the session.

Cupping is sometimes performed along with acupuncture treatments. For best results, you may fast for two to three hours before your cupping session.

FIRE CUPPING:

Helps in relieving: Neck Pain | Back Pain | Shoulder Pain | Leg Pain | Sciatica Pain | Knee Pain

During a fire cupping treatment, a cup is placed on the skin and then heated or suctioned onto the skin. The cup is often heated with fire using alcohol, herbs, or paper that’s placed directly into the cup. The fire source is removed, and the heated cup is placed with the open side directly on your skin.

When the hot cup is placed on your skin, the air inside the cup cools and creates a vacuum that draws the skin and muscle upward into the cup. Your skin may turn red as the blood vessels respond to the change in pressure. With dry cupping, the cup is set in place for a set time, usually between 5 and 10 minutes.

FLASH CUPPING:

Gives Relaxation | Induces Good Sleep | Relieves Muscle Tension

It involves quick repeated application of cups, with minimal retention. It reduces local congestion and stimulates circulation over a broader area.

OIL CUPPING:

Helps in relieving pain | The best of Relaxation | Reduces the varicose veins

It’s a technique where massage oils are applied, cups are attached to the body, and then slid across an area. This helps to improve blood flow and reduce pain, which results in relaxation.

NEEDLE CUPPING:

Along with acupuncture points improves the energy in our body.

Needle Cupping is used to improve acupuncture treatment by bringing Qi and Blood to the acupuncture point. It is useful in cases of common cold, flu, or other types of infections, as cupping can draw the pathogens to the surface while the needles help the body rid itself of them. It is also used in pain management, as both acupuncture and cupping helps to improve blood circulation and stop the pain, needle Cupping and acupuncture are complementary methods to improve organ function. This technique is not used very often.

WATER CUPPING:

Reduces body Heat | Improves blood circulation

Water Cupping consists of adding an ounce of water to the cups before applying them to the body. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Bruise marks from Water Cupping are generally mild, and usually, just some redness will occur.

An excellent way to cool the body down very quickly, Water Cupping is good for pain that feels better with cold, such as inflammatory pain that is red, swollen, and feels hot to the touch. It’s also good at reducing a fever quickly, as the water will cool the body down. It can also be used to cool down someone who has a lot of heat in the body. Signs of this include always feeling hot, having a tendency to drink cold water, and producing a lot of smelly or oily sweat.  Water Cupping is also used for those who are very dry, with symptoms such as dry skin, dry throat, dry hair, and constipation. The water can be absorbed through the skin to help supplement the lack of water in the body.

FACIAL CUPPING:

Increase oxygen-rich blood circulation | strengthen skin and connective tissues | stimulate cells responsible for collagen production | relax muscle tension.

Facial cups are typically smaller and softer. They’re used to gently pull the skin away from deeper layers of fascia. This increases blood flow to the area and rejuvenates the skin without leaving cup marks behind.
